Fees

Annual Membership Adoption Fees
The annual membership fee for Provisional Members is $135.  For Covenant Members, the annual fee is $150–$650 (depending on the number of goer-guests sent annually; see fee chart below). Membership fees are used to maintain this website, communicate with non-member organizations about the benefits of adopting the Standards, and provide assistance to adoptive members through the SOE Office.

Penalty Assessments
Adoptive members who fail to honor the 10 Membership Commitments in a timely manner will be listed as "past due" on the public database. A reasonable grace period will be given for restitution of past due status, with a $50 penalty eventually assessed per past due status. When a past due status is cleared up with the penalty paid in full, the adoptive member will return "full member in good standing" status.

Refund Policy
Refunds for Membership Adoption Fees are not given, except under unusual circumstances, and then only at the SOE Executive Committee's discretion.

Additional Expenses
Your organization will incur other expenses directly related to maintaining your membership. These costs may include travel, food, housing, and conference fees (when applicable) for the Standards Introductory Workshop, ongoing STM Training Conferences, and Peer Review meetings.

All donations to the SOE are tax-deductible and come under the management of the SOE Executive Committee, and are under the authority and control of the SOE’s ‘parent’ organization, AESTM.

The SOE began receiving donations in early 2003 in order to launch the website. The SOE continues to need gifts and donations from individuals,  churches, foundations, and other organizations. Eventually the SOE will not require  any further donations, but will operate exclusively on membership fees,  thus allowing your donation dollars to be given to other worthy causes.
